I thought, after all the posts this past week and this weekend, that some would need a little lift. I know many have put up some light-hearted posts, and they certainly did me some good. So I'd like to return the favor, if I can, with some recent shots this year. Some I just uploaded to Flickr tonight, but some are for your eyes only tonight. You might even recognize some of nature's favorite mimicers pretending to be Open Salon members. :-D

Last, but not least, my good friend and guardian from Friday morning.

Great Blue Heron through trees.
I hope these make you feel like there is magic in the world around us, because there is.

I was bummed. No Internet date service calls me.
I was requesting a date who outright lies in beds.
She must lie like lice under the dirty linen sheets.
I yearn for a belly dancer? A trash dumpsters gal.
Robins shower under the garden spray sprinkler.
Someone who loves a moonlight stroll on moon?
Thanks Bill. Ya photo Nature to heal. Great idea!
We can assimilate Good. We can spit out garbage!
I was browsing other blogs ref:`schnauzer in tuxes!
If I go crazy? Merry? Will Ya do photos of coo coos?
You are a good orthodontist of feathered hen birds?
Ya can take photos of beagles, and Jack Daniel 5-ths?
Foodie day? Ya can cheer folk with bagel & jail locks?

conk.
apology.
skip this.
You are a kind man Bill.
Chuck - I hope your heron makes a surprise appearance.
Verbal - Yes it is - every single bird and insect presented here is STARK NAKED!!!!
Arthur - I actually have a photo (somewhere in one of my photo posts) of a cuckoo wasp - will that do?
Kirsty - The more I go out shooting, the better I find the quality of my photos. I heartily recommend practicing. :-D
Michael - The secret (for me anyway) is as follows: I set my camera on auto sports mode (for action shots), and then I beg the dragonfly to hover for me. The big green one was kind and hovered more than once. The red one was not so cooperative but he did slow down a bit for me. :-D
Seriously. That is how I shot those.
Thanks to all! I deeply appreciate your coming by.
Thanks so much for these precious, colorful, life-filled reminders of how lucky we all are, to be here in this one earthly lifetime, sharing this world with these divine creatures.
Oh, and the Blue Tigers! Still be my heart!!!
What could be better than a beaver in the Winooski River??
